Permanent exhibition on Metamauco
A permanent exhibition has been set up in the Palazzo del Podestà, in the medieval suburb called Malamocco. It as organised by Venice’s Soprintendenze, the Venetian research team (Equipe Veneziana di Ricerca) and the Municipalità di Lido Pellestrina.
One of the aims of this museum is to implant and give root in the new generation of Venetians, a sense of history, of belonging: knowing ones past, one can therefore confront the future with hope. The exhibition also places Malamocco on the map as an important historical centre in Venice.
The exhibition is free and open to the public during office hours. It is also possible to book a visit by calling the Associazione Equipe Veneziana di Ricerca (347.4144035) and the Municipalità di Lido Pellestrina (+39 041.2720543).
