In the town of Noale from 19 to 21 June 2009 takes place the medieval Palio, historical re-enactment of an ancient competition whose first testimonies date back to 1339 during the Tempesta dinasty.

It's a very pictoresque event that involves the old town of Noale: a week end of celebrations with a lot of representations perfomed by jesters, musicians, acrobats, fire eating jesters, falconers besides a beautiful medieval styled market staged by the hamlets of Noale.
The Palio will be held on sunday and will be contended by the seven hamlets of Noale: Gatto, Bastia, Cerva, Saint Giorgio, Saint Giovanni, Drago and Saint Urbano. The winner of the race will be awarded with the "Palio", a cloth-banner painted every year by a different artist. The last one reaching the finish line instead, the shame of being painted black with charcoal.

To point out the Historical Parade before the race  performed by more than 700 figures dressed in the costumes of the time, the medieval dinner and the ceremony "La Bala d'Oro"
