In september, usually in the second sunday of the month, along the Riviera del Brenta takes place one of the more pictoresque events of the year: Riviera Fiorita ( 'Riviera in bloom').
Riviera Fiorita re-enacts the meeting between Enrico III King of France and the Doge of Venice in 1574. This year the show will be on Sunday, 12th September 2010.

The celebration reaches its maximum in villa Pisani - Stra that is the beautiful location where takes place an exchange of gifts between the King and the Doge of Venice at the presence of several courtiers and dames.
To point out the water parade along the Brenta River with a lot of boats: vessels, parade boats and "bissone". After Stra the parade reaches Dolo to continue towards Villa Contarini  dei leoni in Mira and then towards Venice.
