The monogram: embroidery and painting workshop
Week-end at the Museum
Workshop on the monogram organized by the Fondazione Musei Civici di Venezia within the initiative Week-end at the Museum.
The monogram is a graphic symbol consisting of two or more letters combined (usually your initials). It was once used by artists to sign their works, while nowadays it is used to personalize underware and laundry. The two-days workshop will teach how to embroider monograms on shirts, towels, bags, bedclothes ecc..
