On Saturday 29th and Sunday 30th August in Cavallino-Treporti takes place the Tempeston Feast, organized by the association Pro Loco. It's the event that closes the summer festivals period. In addition to music shows and gastronomic stands, on Sunday at 5pm there will be the Tempeston Regatta.

Si ha notizia della celebrazione di questa festività a partire dal 1849 quando Venezia tornava sotto il potere austriaco. In questa occasione viene celebrato il temporale (tempeston appunto) che in quell’occasione devastò le vetrate della chiesa e i raccolti dei campi.  Back
