Calligrafia 2: Dai manuali del XVI secolo alla calligrafia contemporanea

Sabato 13 e domenica 14 marzo presso la Biblioteca del Museo Correr si terrà un secondo appuntamento con la calligrafia. Muovendo dall’osservazione e dalla sperimentazione pratica di diverse scritture, da lettere e documenti del XVI secolo e dai primi manuali per l'insegnamento della scrittura cancelleresca corsiva, il corso offre la possibilità di migliorare la propria scrittura manuale acquisendone una “seconda”, personale, chiara e ben ritmata, anche tramite l’utilizzo di carte trasparenti e giapponesi, lavorando con matite e strumenti inventati per comporre nuove e personali texture.

800 Unpublished Drawings from the Venetian 19th Century

An exhibition of 19th Century drawings, most of which are on display for the very first time, will be presented from December 19th to April 11th 2010 at Correr Museum. There will be works by Caffi, Pividor, Guardi, Moro, Bosa, Vervloet and others, a vast patrimony obscured by the fame of the vast collections of drawings from the eighteenth century that now can receive the attention it deserve.

Galanterie di vetro - Exquisite glass ornaments

On display from March 16th to May 2nd in Palazzo Loredan, Galanterie di Vetro will expose the De Boss-Smith collection, never previously exhibited, composed of more than 250 pieces of nineteenth century Murano glass collected by Fiorella e Philip de Boos-Smith.

Mapping the Studio: Artists from the François Pinault Collection

On display from 6th June 2009 to 6th June 2010, the exhibition Mapping the Studio: Artists from the François Pinault Collection will be shown simoultaneously at Palazzo Grassi and at Punta della Dogana, the new centre of contemporary art of the François Pinault Foundation, renovated by the Japanese architect Tadao Ando.

Le forme del moderno - Scultura a Ca’ Pesaro

Forme del Moderno è il primo appuntamento del programma 2010 della Galleria Internazionale di Arte Moderna di Ca' Pesaro. Dal 5 marzo al 25 luglio 2010 il museo propone una rilettura della collezione plastica, un riallestimento di una trentina di sculture che vengono presentate in un percorso nuovo e inedito.
