Arriving by car

Venice has two covered parking areas: one is at Piazzale Roma and one is on the Tronchetto Island. Right at the end of Ponte della Libertà, the bridge that connects Venice to the mainland, at the stoplight go straight on the main road and follow the indications for Piazzale Roma. The parking areas are: Garage San Marco or Garage Comunale. From Venice Piazzale Roma (car and bus stop) or from Santa Lucia train station: take the ACTV steamboat line 1 and get off about half an hour later at the Santa Maria del Giglio* stop. Head along the calle del Gritti (or del Piovan), that you will find between the Bevilacqua material shop and the Traghetto art gallery, until you come to the campo di Santa Maria del Giglio, where a seventeenth century church of the same name with a magnificent Baroque facade, stands. Turn left into Fondamenta della Fenice and you're there; you will find AD Place on your left at number 2557. From the Venice-Tessera “Marco Polo" airport: take the Eurofly ATVO shuttle bus or the ACTV bus number 5 to Venice Piazzale Roma (car and bus station). From here take the ACTV steamboat line 1 and get off about half an hour later at the Santa Maria del Giglio stop. Continue as above*. Alternatively, from the Venice Marco Polo Airport, take the Alilaguna shuttle bus steamboat and get off at St. Mark's stop (Vallaresso). Once you get off, go over the bridge on your left until you find Calle Vallaresso in front of you; take the ACTV number 1 steamboat in the direction of Piazzale Roma/Tronchetto. Get off at the second stop, S. Maria del Giglio. Continue as above*. From Treviso “Antonio Canova" airport: you can reach Venice Piazzale Roma (car and bus stop with parking) by taxi, with a hired car or using one of the ATVO buses that leave directly from the airport. BY AIR From the airport of Venice Marco Polo (13 km from Venice)Take the shuttle bus or the ACTV bus No. 5 for Venice and exit at piazzale Roma (the car and bus terminal). From here, continue as in the point By car / piazzale Roma. Or by taking the bus from inside the airport you will reach the wharf and take the Alilaguna speed boat, red line, and exit after approximately an hour and a quarter on the water at the Zattere stop. From here take the ACTV ferry No. 82 or 62 in the direction of piazzale Roma and exit at the first stop San Basilio. Continue as in the point By car / San Basilio.From the airport of Treviso Canova (30 km from Venice) Take the shuttle bus for Venice and exit at piazzale Roma (the car and bus terminal). From here, continue as in the point By car / piazzale Roma. BY TRAIN From everywhere, you will arrive at the Santa Lucia railway station of Venice. In front of the station take the ACTV ferry No. 82 in the direction of piazzale Roma / Zattere and exit at the stop for San Basilio. Continue on foot as in the point By car / San Basilio. BY CAR Park in one of the garages of piazzale Roma, the car and bus terminal, or in the parking lots of Isola del Tronchetto (at the end of the long bridge Ponte della Libertà on the right). Continue, from piazzale Roma with the ACTV ferry No. 61 or No. 82 in the direction of Zattere and from the Tronchetto with the ACTV ferry No. 82 and exit at the stop for San Basilio. Continue on foot along Calle del Vento (in front of the wharf), cross Campo San Basegio and continue on Fondamenta San Sebastiano. You have arrived; Hotel San Sebastiano Garden is at number 2542.
