Clean Venice: wine fuel for Venice Lido buses
In Venice Lido wine will be used within motors. This is the basic idea of the project Clean Venice that will interest all the ACTV buses used in Venice main Island. A six-month-testing will be carried on from March to August in order to evaluate Magigas D7, the additive obtained from waste products of grape processing that seems to be able to halve the amounts of fine dust produced by hold diesel motors.
Following the encouraging results obtained by test made by the Joint Research Centre - JRC - European Commission of Ispra, near Varese, the project, financed by Regione Veneto, aim to mesure the emission of polluants and determine if wine based fuel can really improve air quality.
