The week end of the Redentore feast will end with the Redentore Regatta, the departure and arrival of which is the Tempio Votivo of Redentore. The regatta is visible from the fondamenta that coasts the Giudecca Canal.

The Rowing Season 2009 Every year from April to September, in Venice and on the lagoon, there are more than 120 regattas, in addition to the famous Historical Regatta.

Regata di Mestre On 10^th May at 4 p.m. there is the Regata of Mestre, the event that opens the Rowing Season. The most famous champions of the row will participate at the regata which is disputed on 6 rows caorline.

Spiritual Concert on the occasion of the Historical Regatta

Another concert in the series Festival Monteverdi di Venezia will be presented by the Cultural Association Musica Venezia. The concert will be performed by VeniDilecteMi conducted by Jonathan Pradella at St. Salvador’s Church on Sunday, 6 September at 9 p.m. The ensemble will include 5 voices, violin, viola, theorba and organ.

Sfumata ancora una volta la vincita del titolo di “Re del Remo” - Regata Storica

Sotto un bellissimo sole settembrino agitato da un leggero vento di bora si è svolta una della manifestazioni più importanti di Venezia: la Regata Storica. Un evento molto atteso soprattutto perché quest’anno c’era in palio l’ambito titolo di “Re del Remo” assegnato alla coppia di campioni che per cinque anni consecutivi riesce a vincere la regata dei gondolini.
