8° Venice International Boat Show
The 8th Venice International Boat Show, the largest and most spectacular nautical show on the Adriatic sea, also known as the Festival of the Sea, will be held from March 14 - 22, 2009 at the Stazione Marittima, in the port of Venice. A “not-to-be-missed” event for navigation lovers that will steal the show to the most famous water city in the world.
In few day the Venice Boat Show will start, an exhibition organized by Expo Venice to discover the novelties in this area: yacht, sailing and motor boats. A big choise to satisfy all the tastes and all the pockets.
Here some of the previews:
- Aicon 82 Open, in world preview,
- Monterey 415 SY,
- Galeon 640 Fly,
- Solare Lobster 43,
- Bavaria 42 sport,
- Absolute43 HT,
- Blumar Sport Cruiser 30 HT.
Among the novelties there is also a new layout, with a disposition of the boats in the basin of 3 distinct areas, according to type. The Top Yachts section will host motor boats longer than 18 meters. Here will be displayed dream yachts, luxury boats from master designers, true masterpieces of workmanship and technology. Motor boats up to 18 meters will moor in the Easy Boats area, which will host the best proposals for those who desire to choose boats at the beginning of the season. Sailing Space is the section which Venice’s Boat Show exclusively dedicates to sailboats.
The area offers a draft of over 5 meters, confirming the Boat Show’s increasing attention to the world of sails: a peculiarity which distinguishes it from other similar events. Potential customers will have the opportunity of trying out boats on the water, in the splendid setting of the Venetian Lagoon, without any obligation to buy.
A new section will be entirely dedicated to furnishing and interior design. In the dock, more than 1 kilometer of floating piers will allow the creation of ad hoc areas, stands and offices reserved for exhibitors, who may thus manage in perfect privacy their commercial negotiations with customers.
