Do you know the city of Venice? Play at "Recognising Venice"
“Recognising Venice” is an activity proposed by the Fondazione Musei
Civici di Venezia in collaboration with the daily paper Il Gazzettino
within the exhibition "800 Unpublished Drawings from the Venetian 19th Century", at Correr Museum until April 11. The game is
based on the recognition of places of Venice represented in
five nineteenth drawings.
It will begin in the second half of January 2010 when “Il Gazzettino”
will present its readers with five drawings from the exhibition,
publishing one a week. Anyone who is able to recognise the five sites
portrayed will receive a catalogue of the exhibition.

800 Unpublished Drawings from the Venetian 19th Century
An exhibition of 19th Century drawings, most of which are on display for the very first time, will be presented from December 19th to April 11th 2010 at Correr Museum. There will be works by Caffi, Pividor, Guardi, Moro, Bosa, Vervloet and others, a vast patrimony obscured by the fame of the vast collections of drawings from the eighteenth century that now can receive the attention it deserve.

With the tip of a pencil - Drawing competition and exhibition
"With the tip of a pencil” is a drawing competition of real life objects and situations whose subject is Venice: places, views, images, activities or the atmosphere of the contemporary city. The competition, from december 19, 2009 to march 15, is part of the activities proposed within the exhibition “800 Unpublished Drawings from 19th-Century Venice”.
