Church of the Carmini
A convent church built in the 14th century with a curved 1500s style Rennaissance facade. On the left hand side is a characteristic Gothic door from the 1300s.
The church was restructured in later years but still retains its solemn
14th century origins. It is the home of works of art by Francesco di
Giorgio Martini, Cima da Conegliano and Lorenzo Lotto, who is the
author of the altar pieces as well as statues dating from the 1700s and
a bronze, bas relief in which strong Donatello influences can be seen.
