Church of St Barnaba
This church was restored around the middle of the 1700s. It has a façade in Istrian stone and looks out over the square of the same name. On the left of the church is the portico that leads to the Casin dei Nobili, a ‘casino for nobles’ or games and entertainment house that has its origins in the 18th century.
It was destroyed by the fire of 1105 and rebuilt in 1350 thanks to donations from the worshippers. It was restored again in 1776 by the architect Lorenzo Boschetti.
The façade is classical, similar to the Gesuati style over which there is a tympanum.
The interior has one nave and is similar to the architecture of Massari.
